Annie Whitfield

Attorney

Most of my cases start with a family who knew something was wrong.

Before law school I worked as a nurse's aide at a long-term care home in east Tulsa. I know what good care looks like, and what it looks like when a floor is short-staffed.

I handle the group's nursing home neglect and fall cases. I read every page of the chart myself, and I explain what I find in plain words, in English or Vietnamese.

How I work

Families in these cases are usually still caring for someone, or grieving them. I keep meetings short, come to you when that's easier, and send a written update after every step.

Outside work, I volunteer at a free legal clinic on Saturdays and cook too much phở on Sundays.
